The Mockbeggar Plantation has played several significant roles in the history of our community and Newfoundland as a whole since the late 1700's. The current structure is believed to have been built in 1873 and contains many historical artifacts. The site is open to to visitors during the tourist season and is a "must see" for history aficionados.
